Another salad bar ?
Yes, but this one has that something extra which makes all the difference. We already let you know about their first restaurant that we really loved. 3/3rds, launched by a young Hong Konger whose grandmother was from Bordeaux, has just arrived in the heart of Hong Kong's central district. The pizzas served there are among the best in the city, the fougasse bread is delicious, and the lemon tart, well worth the visit. Everything is fresh and each dish is made on the same day, in the small kitchen, even the bread. The menu changes every week following the seasons. Most products are organic and originate from especially handpicked farms.
When we visited, we couldn't decide between the butternut-parmesan soup, the roasted aubergines with safran yogurt, the sweet potatoes with lemongrass or the three cheeses pizza. In the end, we added a takeaway dinner to our lunch. My guy was ecstatic and so was I.
The space is small and a little bit hidden, but you soon get used to it and the service is nice and friendly.
Really looking forward to next Monday to discover the latest menu! I've heard of Burmese chicken soup and chargrilled broccolis...
