AWTAR: This lounge will take you to the Mediterranean

If you are like me and you love sharing mezzes and other Lebanese, Turkish and Greek delights, don’t wast any time, head to Awtar! Joeseph, the owner, a Lebanese polyglot, has just opened his restaurant on Staunton Street and is offering the best of the Mediterranean in a super relaxed space.

Comfy chairs, colorful cushions, lamps straight out of Aladdin, and low tables made us immediately feel at ease. Chicha, cocktails, a quick lunch or dinner with friends, every occasion is great to return to Awtar.

The cocktail list is endless, you must try at least one (personally, I am crazy about the Almond Coffee Martini)! Afterwards, you can choose whether you’ll have Turkish, Greek or Lebanese, or all three. The baba-ganoush is a must, the tabouleh is delicious, the hummus, tasteful, and lamb, succulent. As for the desserts...we’ll leave you to discover them, surprising, but definitely worth it.
Trust me, this bar/lounge/restaurant, on two floors in the heart of Soho, which will soon become the hangout spot for many of you ladies!
