Those past few days have been so grey and gloomy, I gotta a feeling will all need a shot of cheekiness and fun. Well, I got the perfect plan!
A restaurant with a playful design inspired by Alice in Wonderland, a free-flow Veuve Clicquot Label Champagne, mountains of seafood, fresh juices but also very pornfood options … Doesn’t it sound like the perfect Sunday brunch?
The seafood corner is just huge: lobsters (yeah baby), oysters, crab, mussels, salmon, seafood salad … A big splash of fresh food! The sashimi and sushi section is not be missed either. Not such a fan of seafood? No worries … head off to the carving station for beef, suckling pig or lamb. And if you are just like me and love absolutely everything then start with the seafood, move to the carving station, grab another lobster on your way back to your table and do not forget to indulge yourself with some dim sum. Am I the only one always ending up with indecently huge plates making absolutely no sense (something like sushis, oysters, lamb, noodles, lobster, lobster benedict egg – because you can never have too much lobster - oh and a slice of cheese because I like that too much) when eating at a buffet?
What I adore about KITCHEN’s brunch ? You can have it all. The W’s moto “Detox, Retox, Repeat” has never been so true. A coconut water or a pineapple juice for detox, a glass of champagne and a signature Bloody Mary for retox. A DIY Caesar salad and then slice of foie gras. A vegetarian plate but a very pornfood cheese platter. Healthy and decadent, all in one brunch … How cool?
Oh an make sure not to miss the deserts station. Churros? Yes please! Marshmallows, madeleines and financiers? Yes, but can I dip them in the chocolate fountain? Fresh fruits? Yes, a touch of freshness before the yuzu-milk chocolate tart would be nice.
I am so full right now! But does not feel guilty at all. Definitely boozy, healthy and decadent is the perfect Sunday brunch mix!
