GUEST OF THE MONTH – Enoch Ho, founder of HK fashion brand Berayah

June 17th 2016

By Lily

Founded in April 2013 by Enoch Ho, Berayah is a contemporary fashion label. A transliteration of the Hebraic word “Baraiah”, meaning “God has created”, Berayah collections seek to tell stories via modern womenswear by uniquely combining a conceptual approach to Biblical inspirations with an ultra-wearable minimalism. Enoch Ho aims to create garments that are not only uniquely flattering, but also carries timeless style and a tale.

Who are you Enoch?
I'm a fashion designer and a serious foodie. Also noob coffee snob and a photographer wannabe.

Chinese zodiac sign?
Ox (P.S. what a cheeky way of finding out how old someone is)

Your favourite restaurant?
Won Pung Won Korean Restaurant. The best authentic Korean food in town, and the most authentic service (great if you're Korean, not so much if you're not)
G/F, Valiant Commercial Building, Prat Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui

Your favourite bar?
Ned Kelly's Last Stand
11A Ashley Road,, Tsim Sha Tsui

Your favourite destination?
Seattle, I spent 3 years attending university there and I've missed it every day since. The pace of the city is in line with my soul.

Your favourite app?
It's probably vscocam, especially after the horrifying icon update from Instagram

I am never without my...
iPhone (unashamed) and optimism

To relax, I...
Walk around and look at stuff. I like to explore different neighbourhoods and take photos, and I also like to cook

Your fav citation?
But first, coffee

And where and when can we catch you?
All kinds of coffee spots around town, especially during weekdays and office hours
