Foodie crush: Premium Meat menu at Le Bistro Winebeast One of the only thing I feel is hard to find in Hong Kong is good meat. Beef? Easy to find. Is it always good? Definitely not. Pork? I must be posh but if it is not Iberico, it’s not worth eating it. Veal? Pretty impossible to find. I am not a carnivorous, but I do fancy a piece of meat sometimes and when I go for a fix of proteins I want it to be qualitative.
If you are like me, head off to Le Bistro Winebeast. In June, they offer a Premium meat menu featuring free range grass-fed John Stone beef (dry aged for 21-28 days), Italian veal and Iberian pork. The veal cutlet is legit!
Casa Vercelli Veal cutlet – 1kg HKD730 (for 2-3 people, includes 2 side dishes)
John Stone Beef Tomahawk – 1 kg HKD845 (for 2-3 people, includes 2 side dishes)
John Stone Striploin – 250 G HKD420 (for 1 person, includes 2 side dishes)

Lifestyle crush: Le Sablier diptyque My diptyque addiction is going one step further with the recent launch of Le Sablier: an hourglass filled with perfume that disperses iconic diptyque’s scents through a unique cold-diffusion process.
More than just a perfume diffuser, Le Sablier is a beautiful olfactory object: two transparent glass vessels linked together by a perforated band evoking an incense burner and the lightness of lace. Complete addiction to that beautiful hourglass wrapping up my living room in a delicate scent of Orange Blossom.
Hourglass Diffuser HKD1,300 – Refill HKD420
6 scents: Fleur d’Oranger, Figuier, Baies, 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain, Rose, Gingembre

Party crush: 22 Ships’ catering menu
The junk boat season has now officially started. Hurrah to long lazy (and sometimes boozy) days in the sun and the sea with friends and family. I love boat days! The only thing I don’t love on those days is the food, usually very so-so right?
Well, one of our favourite tapas restaurant in Hong Kong, 22 Ships, now as a catering menu that will definitely pimp up your next junk! Duck rillettes w/ marmalade (HKD348), scallop ceviche w/ yuzu and Chinese radish (HKD418), fish tartare (HKD358), whole suckling pig w/ pineapple and piquillo peppers (HKD1,000) … sounds a little bit more exciting than the usual cold chicken and salad assortment right?
And if you really feel like doing things the proper way, you can get the party-started with Executive Chef Aaron Gillespie on-board (who, on top of cooking delicious dishes, is quite cute … just saying).
The Moveable Feast package: all dishes are recommended for 8-10 persons sharing / minimum spend of HKD3,000
