Namo: we all know Thai cuisine, this is Avant Thai

September 4th 2015

The “Avant Thai” is a subtle mix of traditional Thai dishes, international ingredients and very modern cooking techniques. Namo is the first restaurant of its kind in Hong Kong, boasting both a Spanish Michelin starred chef as well as a famous Thai chef. On the menu you’ll find the classics (Tom Yum soup, green, yellow and red curries) that also include a western touch (or vice a versa): green papaya salad…with yellow fin tuna, mussels marinieres… with coconut cream and chilli, Iberico pork ribs… in coriander. And it works, the flavours come together beautifully.

The minimalist and modern décor, the big terrace that gives on to Victoria Harbour and HK’s skyline and yet a warm atmosphere where you feel relaxed and zen. A great place to go for a Saturday night or Sunday lunch with family, just before hitting the Avenue of stars for a digestive stroll.
