You’re expecting the nicest event on earth, your little first one just pointed out his cute face or you’re already a mum of 3, 4, 5 monsters: this article is for you. You’re not that comfortable with your English especially when it is medical. Sometimes it frustrates you a bit not to understand the diagnosis or treatments: this article is for you as well. You’d love to visit all your doctors in a single one location, close to your home, with complete confidence: this article is for you again.
There are lots of clinics in Hong Kong and we tried a couple but had a crush on that one. Not only it’s the only Internationally accredited one, but it also offers some valuable services.
Pregnant, we don’t want to be stressed but only ask 1,000 questions and be reassured. After delivery, we still have 1,000 questions and just want to be reassured. At OT&P they understood it very well and dedicated one specific clinic (among the seven in Hong Kong) to women and children. Right in the heart of Central, in a very modern and comfortable atmosphere, 1 pediatric trained doctor, 2 obstetricians/gynecologist and 3 family doctors welcome expecting and young mummies. All the needed services, materials and machines are there, but also some toys and books for the kids or magazines for the mums. A few steps away, their midwifes’ clinic (Annerley) offers free training/chat/conference every Friday at lunch time. One single goal: help, reassure and answer 1,000 questions! You struggle a bit with your English and are not 100% sure you understand everything, a dedicated French-speaking officer is here to help you. Translate a prescription, blood test results or whatever, she can even assist you during the consultation if this makes you feel more comfortable. There are also two French-speaking osteopaths and one psychologist. You’re neither pregnant nor mummy, but when it’s time to go see a doctor you just don’t want to run to the other end of the city. More than 45 GPs and specialists are spread in 7 different locations. From Repulse Bay to Clearwater Bay, Discovery Bay, Central or Wan Chai, I am sure there is one close to your home.
Renowned specialists, a French-speaking interface, a dedicated venue for women and kids: the perfect spot to ask your 1,000 of question and be reassured.
