TramOramic: A historic tour on board a 1920s tram

Tram, I just love it! There is nothing like a ride on board the Hong Kong tram to feel like a local (or at least close enough). So when I heard that an old 1920s tram was being renovated by some French technicians, for us to transport us from one part of the island to the other, I went straight for it. And it was really a nice experience!

Transported back 100 years in the past right away!  I suggest that you head for the upper deck, with its open terrace, undoubtedly the best way to travel through the city. Earphones on (among the choice of 8 languages available, French included), I began to absorb the historical tour.  Anecdotes, recent and ancient history, architecture, culture, etc. We learned a number of great facts. As a bonus, you will get a golden ticket with unlimited travel within the two days of your visit.

A great idea for a family outing or for when your parents come to visit.
