Cochin – one of my 2016 foodie crush !
Opened last year in May, with chef Renaud Martin in the kitchen, Cochin feels like the Mediterranean sea!
The chef’s cuisine is delicate: classic recipes with an excellent choice of products.

The brunch has just been launched – Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.

We start with appetisers to share: the unmissable foie gras crème brulée, the octopus carpaccio, the prawn caesar, the oyster « vinaigre gourmand », the smoked salmon egg dressing, the beef carpaccio, the chorizo bellota and the anchovies boquerones.
The dishes are tapas portions to share in the cute and fine tableware.

For the main courses, it’s a difficult choice as everything seems so good – roasted spring chicken, suckling pig, miso black cod, ocean trout, angus ribeye or gnocchis.
We finally chose the yummy cod and the savoury red meat.

Finally, you have the choice between the Marchand Cheese Selection or the Cochin Dessert selection (add HK$75 if you cannot make a decision and take them both !)

We chose the desserts including the yummy mille feuille, a mini panna cota, a sweet crème brulée, a chocolate pot, some mini choux and the "Cochin mess" – meringue, cream and fruits.

The brunch set includes tea selection from  Palais des Thés or coffee.

Set brunch -  355HK$ per person
Add HK$285 for free flow (Champagne Duval Leroy Brut, red/white red).

Cochin has also launched the breakfast menu from 8am every day and also the week end including omelette (HK$95), the traditional avocado toast (HK$95) and French pancakes (HK$95).
