Are you the kind of person to kick off the new year by swearing to God you will make it to the gym on a regular basis? I am. And have to say I’ve been pretty good sticking to my gym routine over the past three years. Turned out I only needed two things to finally made this resolution work: 1/ finding the right studio with the right vibes for me (Barre 2 Barre is the place that makes me wanna wake-up in the morning and workout before work) 2/ stocking on sexy and/or cool sportswear.
I can’t really help you find the studio that’s made for you, you’ll have to try as many studios as possible until you find the one. But I can definitely share some of my fav sportswear brands! Are you looking for something slightly different? Something that’s gonna make you look sexy and bold? Try and give a go to BIGBIG’s bodésuit, comfy but flattering.
Hong Kong Madame loves: Simone Bodésuit (USD 220) with its chic navy and black colour combo, it’s empire waist that makes your legs look longer, it’s very flattering back and it’s lightweight stretchable spandex fabric.

Expect no cronut but instead pastries inspired by local childhood memories such as a Lemon Juice Box or Hong Kong Milk Tea Cookie Shots (as featured on the above picture).

Lush encourages you to bring your own cup in 2020
The beginning of the new year is always the perfect time to try and implement a few good habits in your routine. One habit I did implement last year and actually managed to maintain throughout the entire year is to stop buying take-away coffee in paper cups. Bringing my own cup simply became a habit. Did you know that paper cups cannot be recycled in Hong Kong? Now you know!
After pressing 2 million Shampoo Bars to replace 6 million plastic bottles in 2019 and opening the first-in-Asia Naked Shop, Lush has decided to go even further in tackling the wastage issue in 2020. Kicking off the year with a #CarrytheCup coffee pop-up encouraging you to stop using paper cups. All you need to do is bring your own reusable cup to enjoy a free cup of delicious vegan coffee or tea and/or buy the Lush rCUP (HKD 130), the world’s first reusable coffee cup made from used paper cups.
#CarrytheCup Coffee pop-up at Lush Soho Square
Jan 7 to 13, 12 pm to 5 pm daily

Amongst the most widely recognised works in the show is the original silkscreen of the Girl with Balloon series, similar to the one recently destroyed by the artist in an unprecedented move at Sotheby’s London auction house.
At Portal 6311 in Kowloon Bay
Until March 1st, 2020
Tickets to be purchased online (Standard: HKD 180 on weekdays / HKD 210 on weekends and public holidays)
