In 1995, Mathilde Thomas launched with her husband Bertrand, Caudalie, the famous cosmetic brand specializing in vinotherapy. After Bordeaux and Paris, she left to live in New York, then Hong Kong in 2015. The brand then expands exponentially internationally. Her creator gives us her favorites and some secrets of beauty.
My favorite restaurant
Grassroots Pantry: I love Grassroots Pantry because it is healthy and tasteful. And their philosophy “To Make Food Do Good” is also the essential of French beauty.
My favorite destination
Château Smith Haut Lafitte in Bordeaux, my family vineyard, and also the place where Caudalie was born. I love to spend my summer there as it gives me lots of inspiration.
My favorite junk food
I don't eat junk food, but I snack a lot on grapes and almonds.

To stay fit, ….
I’ll do a 3-days Grape Cleanse a year. Just eat grapes for three days and this “Grape Cure” can help to fight the aging process and to revitalize the body. Moreover, a glass of red wine a day (yet I'll skip it during the Grape Cleanse period). It’s beneficial in the antioxidant polyphenols and has a very high resveratrol content.
