Cup noodles and fresh … two things that I don’t usually put together. Actually, if you ask me cup noodles might be one of the worst things on earth. Ok might be a little bit exaggerated but I do find it disgusting, not to mention how unhealthy and saturated with fat it is. I do see the convenience of it, that I can understand. I know how busy everyone is and I am the first one not to have time to prepare fresh meals every day but also sometimes finding myself not even having enough time to go out and grab something healthy to eat. But does convenience must win over quality, taste and health? I don’t think so and seems like NOSH either. True to their motto “Eat Smarter” and their aim of better serving their time-sensitive customers without compromising taste and quality, they just launched a brand-new line of fresh pre-packaged noodle soups.

Pulled beef, Holy Basil and Vietnamese Beef Pho
Chicken Laksa with Tofu and Coconut Milk
First impression, it looks like a cup noodle soups but as soon as you open the lid and check what is inside you know it is not your regular cup (even though you are just like me and don’t know much about cup noodles as you would rather like not to eat than eating one of those … yes I am that kind, the kind who would skip a meal rather than eating shit). Second impression, it is super convenient! Can be stored in the fridge up to 3 days and just need a bit of water and re-heating before eating. Third impression, the taste is definitely not the one of a traditional cup noodles. I must confess a real preference for the Chicken Laksa as I found the Pho not tasty enough for me (that’s my big problem … I tend to over salt everything which is super bad but therefore when something such as those fresh cups is low salt content I find it lacking something. Definitely need to change that bad habit, and quickly). Fourth impression, the price HKD35-38 is super reasonable (I work in Central and I definitely challenge you to find me a healthy and complete fresh meal for HKD 35).
Ok you know what NOSH, I surrender … you had me eating cup noodles and enjoying it and you will even have me doing it again.
