Have you ever thought of having your own little green space where to grow herbs and vegetables? Impossible in Hong Kong, right? Well, not anymore! Garage Society and Rooftop Republic are joining forces and launching Garage Greens, inviting you to grow your own vegetables on Garage Society’s beautiful outdoor terrace in Wan Chai.
Feel like becoming an urban farmer? Easy peasy! All you have to do is joining the 3-month seasonal program debuting on August 3rd. Participants will enjoy:
- Free access to the terrace on weekdays from 10.30 am to 7 pm
- Bi-weekly workshops (every other Friday) w/ Rooftop Republic’s expert urban farmers
- Free recipes from JouSun, an online farmer’s market
- Access to cooking classes, cocktails workshops, film screenings and talks on sustainability and food industry
What about the cost? HKD 800. Quite reasonable right?
