My summer essentials

Are you going somewhere this summer? I am flying back to France for 2 weeks and cannot wait for it.
My obsession when traveling? Packing the perfect suitcase!
 
Here are some of the things which will be traveling with me this summer:

• Skincare & bodycare essential: Pure Lano 

I am addicted to that skincare brand and its natural based products w/ lanolin to rejuvenate dry and damaged skin.
I am definitely packing their ultra moisturizing body crème, I know it is exactly what my skin will crave for after a day spent on the beach. And because the best preparation for a healthy and glowy tan is a good exfoliation, I am also stocking up a few jars of their sea salt body exfoliator. Also making sure to always have their lip treatment in my bag.

• Haircare essential: Lush’s new shampoo bar

A solid bar with cinnamon, clove and peppermint to stimulate your scalp. This shampoo bar is absolutely perfect: an addictive smell, a super convenient format and an ethic message to ban cosmetic animal tasting. 

• Lifestyle essential: kikki.K

There is one thing that I never forget to bring whenever I am traveling: a cute notebook. One where I can write down pretty much everything that comes to my mind: things that I want to do, things that I have done or seen and want to remember, shopping lists, to do lists, mood of the day, music and movies to downloads, articles that I am working on … everything. I love re-reading those notebooks afterwards!
 
When it comes to cute notebooks, my fav brand is definitely kikki.K. I haven’t been able to decide yet which one I will choose for the upcoming holidays … I want them all!

• Fashion essential: Eres 

I told you already about the opening of Eres in Hong Kong and their super desirable summer collection. Well, having one of their swimsuit in your luggage is a must for a super fashionable and chic holidays.

• Foodie essential: a Ca’Del Grevino wine

Yes, I know what you are going to say, a French girl drinking a Californian wine. Well, I am not ashamed.
What I love about this wine is that it tastes like Summer probably because of its mix of Californian roots, the winery is located in the Santa Maria Valley, and Italian heritage, the wife of the owner being Italian and the wine maker having Sicilian roots.

It is then really up to you to choose which wine to go for:

• A Grevino Dolcetto 2013 w/ a tomato, basil and mozzarella salad (ultimate summer dish)
• An Element Chardonnay 2014 w/ a citrus dish
• An Element Trilogy 2010 w/ a good old meaty feast. Who doesn’t like prime rib on the bbq and wine in summer?
