Intercontinental Hong Kong presents a delicate Repetto Afternoon Tea

5 Little things we love – March
When something as cute and delicate as afternoon tea delicacies meets iconic French ballet-wear brand, Repetto, the result can only be exquisite and delicate. I absolutely love this tea set.
But on top of being luxurious and beautiful, is it yummy? Yes, it is. To pay homage to the Repetto’s signature ‘stitch and return’ craftsmanship, InterContinental Hong Kong’s Executive Chef Maxime Luvara and Executive Pastry Chef Christian Gonthier have selected special ingredients, including Rocamadour cheese, walnuts and truffles, from the area nearby the Repetto Factory located in Dordogne, France.

Hong Kong Madame fav nibble: actually can't decide between those 2 savoury items, the Chilled French Onion Soup and the Crumbed Snails w/ Rocamadour Cheese. The first because it was original and flavourful and the second because it was just pure pornfood.

HKD 688 for two (includes 2 Repetto gift pouches)
Afternoon Tea is served daily at the Lobby Lounge: Monday to Friday from 2.30 pm to 6 pm and Weekends and Public Holidays from 1.30 pm to 6 pm
Repetto Afternoon tea is available from March 1stto April 30

8 Hong Kong brands take on Paris Fashion Week thanks to the Fashion Farm Foundation

5 Little things we love – March
You may have heard; Paris Fashion Week has just ended, and it has been crazy. Have you watched any of the shows? It’s my little guilty pleasure, I love watching at the replays and following the Fashion Week madness on social media. And this year, a fashion news caught my eyes: 8 Hong Kong local brands have been able to showcase their latest collections thanks to the Fashion Farm Foundation, a non-profit organization aiming at promoting Hong Kong fashion globally.

Congrats to the 8 selected brands for bringing Hong Kong fashion to the world’s most fashionable event:

Impossible Foods launches Impossible Burger 2.0

5 Little things we love – March
Ever heard of Impossible Foods? Originated from California, the company focus on creating plant-based products recreating the feel and taste of meat with a mission to create wholesome and nutritious food, restore natural ecosystems and feed a growing population sustainably. Impossible Food has launched in Hong Kong last April and their plant-based patty is now used by nearly 150 venues in town ranging from first-class hotels (I know for example that Grand Hyatt has some Impossible Foods dishes) to burger chains (the Impossible Burger at Beef & Liberty is the yummiest thing on the menu if you ask me!) and even Dai Pai Dongs. Having had a few Impossible Foods based meals myself I can testify: it really feels and tastes like meat! And it’s so yummy.

The 2.0 patty is launching this month. What’s different from the previous one? It’s wheat free and juicier, meatier and more beef-tasting than ever. It also contains as much bioavailable iron and high-quality protein as a comparable serving of ground beef from cows. Yummy made guilt free!

Here to find venues around you serving Impossible Foods

Nespresso launches two limited editions coffees inspired by the world’s first coffee houses in Istanbul and Venice

5 Little things we love – March
I’m a coffee addict. I can’t work properly without my daily dose of caffeine. But I take coffee not only as something I need but also as something I love, a little guilty pleasure helping me to kick-off my morning the right way. Therefore, am always excited when Nespresso launches new limited editions … give mummy some coffee!

And the two latest releases are pretty intense! Inspired by the world’s first coffee houses in Istanbul and Venice, Nespresso is bringing us Café Istanbul and Café Venezia

Hong Kong Madame fav: Café Istanbul, an Arabian Mocha coffee from Yemen with exotic notes from India and intense black pepper spicy notes. Loving myself a fragrant waking up.

TUMI Voyageur collection dresses with a beautiful Sunset color for Spring/Summer 2019

5 Little things we love – March
Not the first time am mentioning TUMI here, but I can’t help it, I really thing that no other travel brand really knows how to combine purposeful, practical design without compromising style quite like they do. And the perfect example is their Voyageur collection, bringing versatile and lightweight nylon backpack, bags and accessories for women and making it easy to travel light, practical yet stylish. This Spring/Summer the collection is available in the most beautiful and very pop Sunset tone which makes me wanna pack and hop on a plane to watch sunset on the beach. I need/want/dream of the Sofia Backpack in Sunset.
