Between the travel restrictions, the confinement orders effective in many countries and the appeals to limit social gatherings and avoid public places in many others, most of the world’s wonders now seems out of reach. But are they really? Not if you have a bit of imagination and if you don’t mind a virtual tour. Let’s take a trip to Paris together, I’m sure you’ll love it!
Wander the gardens of Versailles in the balmy spring weather

But are they really? Not if you have a bit of imagination and if you don’t mind a virtual tour. Let’s take a trip to Paris together, I’m sure you’ll love it!
Wander the gardens of Versailles in the balmy spring weather
It usually takes a 30-min car ride or 45-min train ride to go to Versailles if you are staying in Paris. But it only takes 30 sec to land in the world’s largest royal domain Court of Honor if you are in HK and have a good wifi connection. A great opportunity to visit the world’s most famous castle and its endless gardens while avoiding the queues. And for free!
You’ll unfortunately have to pass on treating yourself to a gastronomic break at Ore, Alain Ducasse’s restaurant inside the castle, but you’ll still be able to explore the beauty of Versailles’ gardens with stops at the Orangery, the Dragon Fountain, the Neptune Fountain, the Apollo Fountain or the outside ballroom among others. Oh and make sure to go all the way to Marie Antoinette’s Estate and pay a visit to the Grand Trianon, you’ll love its pastoral vibes.

Did you know that the Louvre houses one of the world’s largest collection of Egyptian antiquities after the Egyptian museum of Cairo? It would be a shame not to visit at least once in your life, right? Grab a coffee, put on your nicest “I’m comfy because I’m staying at home” outfit and get ready to discover vestiges from civilizations that developed in the Nile Valley from the late prehistoric era to the Christian period including the famous Seated Scribe.

Built as a railway station for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, the Musée d’Orsay is quite a unique museum and worth visiting for its architecture itself. But while it’s currently not possible, you can still enjoy intimate views of the museum’s unique collection of paintings from period 1848 to 1914 including more than 80 art pieces from Monet, the famous Self-Portrait by Van Gogh and an impressive collection of Impressionist artworks.
