Wednesday night, looking for a place where to grab a beer or two and a few dirty nibbles (Yes, Wednesday is usually my cheat day … Two days to go before the weekend, I always feel like I need a drink and some dirty food to hold on.) and exploring options in my hood. Going down from Mid Levels, I am passing by a very cool place, seems quite full of people, a quick look at the menu and they serve beers and a few dishes looking very yummy and dirty … oki let’s give it a go to 65 Peel!
Let’s start by a beer on tap, shall we? This heat has me craving for a fresh beer. The menu looks quite appeling with a lot of intriguing things.
Hum am I gonna go for a fruity with peachy notes Signature Pale Ale (HKD 80) or for a Lemongrass IPA (HKD 80)? Ok no, I’ll take the malty Lamma Island IPA (HKD 80) thanks!

What about the food?
The menu is short but definitely looks dirty. You can choose small bites – please make sure to order the risotto balls w/ truffle mayo (HKD 85) they are so pornfood it feels like you could eat a thousand of those – or dishes to share. We went for the super yummy grilled Octopus (HKD 188) and the super appealing 24H beef cheek pasta with truffle (HKD 148 - just not convinced by the linguine because those are not the easiest pasta to share, I was picturing this dish with conchiglie when reading at the menu). Oh and because when it is my cheat day I like to enjoy to the fullest, I am definitely going to order the churros (HKD 85) as a sugary treat. So good and so dirty!

I wanted dirty food … I got it. I wanted fresh beers … I got it, and not just only fresh I also got surprising. I wanted cool vibes … I got it. Cherry on the cake? I got all I wanted for a super reasonable price. I’ll be back.
