I am a 90’s kid … Grew up with Sex&The City, Gossip Girls, rising of the fashion blogosphere and the social media …
Dressing-up is my thing and I love shopping more than I should. Thing is I got neither the shopping budget of Carrie nor the one of Serena and Blair so I am usually more a Zara and Topshop girl. But hey, still love to shine in designer dresses! How to? By renting instead of buying! Brilliant!
I got to experience a full week as a fashionolic with Y EECHOO and it was just super cool.
Let’s pick-up some outfits, shall we? Their website is super easy to browse and had me pretty much crazy … Ending up with around 15 outfits in my wishlist whereas I was only supposed to wear 7 different ones. As easy as any e-commerce website: you place your order, they deliver to your doorstep. Only difference is you have to return your outfit 4 or 8 days after receiving it. Nothing to worry about, dry cleaning is on them.
And for those who still feel more comfortable trying on an outfit before renting it, you can book a fitting appointment in their showroom in the heart of central. This place is insane, dresses everywhere and for all occasions (beach, work, weekend getaways, gala diner, romantic date …)… even better than a candy store!
Monday: I am going from meetings to meetings and need a business outfit. But something with a fashionable twist, boring outfits are not my cuppa tea. Went for a Clover Canyon black asymmetric neoprene dress and loved it.
Tuesday: Went for a beautiful orange lace dress from BCBGMaxAzria – easy to wear at work and no need to change when going for a drink (or two) after the long day.
Wednesday: Had an opening party on the evening and needed to wear something fashion and not classic. Felt totally in love with a tutu dress from Self-Portrait. Never got so much compliments on an outfit. Can I keep this one forever?
Thursday: A Diane Von Furstenberg red wrap dress, sexy but classy, had me shine at a business event.
Friday: Time to party in the sexiest dress ever - a Herve Leger burgundy bandage dress.
Saturday: was staycationing on that weekend and needed a cute dress to enjoy a lunch by the pool. Went for a graphic black and white mini-dress from Style Stalker. My second fav outfit of this very fashioniable week.
Sunday: insane strapless body jumpsuit by Sarah Lai to brunch on a sunny day.
Pfiou, tough week!
And for those of you who want more than just a week of designer outfits, the Infinity Package is a great deal. HKD 680/month and you can order as many outfits as you want zithin a month (valued up to HKD 680).
The only downside of YEECHOO ? After wearing them, you wanna keep the outfits forever!
