If you’re a fan of unusual food then this is absolutely for you! We’d been wanting to try out BO Innovation’s inventive cookery for absolutely ages, and unable to wait any longer we started making puppy eyes at our boyfriends! It worked a treat; just like that we were off to dine at the restaurant the critics just can’t stop talking about! And what an adventure it was… It’s not so much a dinner as a whole experience. The chef has completely reinterpreted and reengineered some of the most classic Chinese dishes. There’s no menu, just three different sets to choose from, allowing you to sample as much as possible. As we wanted to try as many different things as would could, we went for the “Chef’s Table” menu, which included 15 dishes. It was a real gastronomic journey. To help you understand and appreciate the dishes, the waiting staff are there to guide you through! They’ll explain the concept and the best way to taste the chef’s creations. We particularly loved the ‘Molecular’, the ‘Caviar’ and the ‘Tomato’ (of course!) and the ‘Lobster’, ‘Saga-Guy Beef’ and ‘Bubble Tea’. Surprising, fun, interesting and delicious- there simply are not enough adjectives to describe the dishes and the mouthfuls which followed! Together, it was a total symphony for the taste buds! One slight snag was the slightly hefty bill at the end- but we just told ourselves: if you love something, don’t focus on the small details!
