Crystal bus

I have been living in HK for almost 3 years now. Cannot say that I have seen it all but when I have friends or family visiting I always struggle to find new activities for them.  And then I heard about Crystal Bus, a double-decker combining tourist tour and dinner. I though why not after all!

Ok, I warn you the bus is kind of surprising! I mean if you are not familiar with Swarovski crystals encrusted vehicles, which obviously I am not. Feels a little bit like entering a KTV or a nightclub. To be 100% honest I am not really sure about the all point of it but after all why not. Crystal Bus tours Hong Kong three times a day :
  • Lunch tour from 3 pm to 5.30 pm
  • Dinner tour from 7 pm to 9.30 pm
  • Night Drink tour from 10 pm to 11.15 pm

I decided to get on board for dinner and a tour taking me from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island, pretty much the same itinerary for Lunch and Dinner tours while Night Drink one only ride Kowloon side. Seating on the Upper Deck, the view is quite interesting and allows you to see things from a different angle. I actually kind of enjoyed being able to spot all the little shops on 1/F and 2/F in Mongkok and Prince Edward. All of that while eating a dim sum set meal provided by One Dim Sum (1 Michelin star). Eating Turnip cake and Siu Mai while passing by Hong Kong major attractions is definitely a worth it experience for someone new to Hong Kong. Come on mummy, you can come visiting me again, I got something new for you to try.
