Gonpachi
The Japanese ‘Kill Bill’ restaurant in Hong Kong. In line with the Tokyo restaurant: traditional no-frills décor, small dining seating areas for enthusiasts, and the famous shouts of “irasshaimase” (welcome!). Basically, it has everything. The dishes themselves aren’t so bad either. Wrapped tiger prawns and deep fried shrimp dumplings make a delicate effect in the mouth, the seiro soba is good and the potato/ pork croquettes are a greedy wish. Rather positive overall but quite frankly we don’t like the location. We’re definitely not a fan of dining in a mall…
