INFINITY BRUNCH AT AQUA: A Sunday between Tokyo and Rome

By Delphine

You must know me well enough now to know how much I love Sunday brunch! So let’s try out Aqua, the trendy TST address. On the menu is a surprising mix but far from disagreeable.

As an intro, the view of the Hong Kong skyline is incredible and the free flow option of Veuve Clicquot is irresistible.

Starting with Japanese, Edamame (you know, the green soybeans) is offered instead of ordinary peanuts. This allows us to wait patiently for the superb sushi and sashimi sharing platter. And in a single word: DE-LI-CIOUS! It definitely hit the spot. We will leave it there. Now time for the Italian. A large plate of cold cuts and antipasti, absolutely impossible to resist: pastrami, octopus salad, mozzarella, salami, marinated tomatoes...DE-LI-CIO-SO! What? It’s not finished? No! We headed for the main dish, a Wagyu beef steak in Shiitake sauce, made to perfection, and seafood tempura which were just as good. To conclude, what best than to head to Rome for a tiramisu and an organic sorbet accompanied by a nice strong Italian espresso.

It’s now time for a siesta...as you would do in Italy.
