If you’ve been reading Hong Kong Madame for a while, you’ll know I’m no stranger to Kiztopia. We covered their mega playground in TKO last year, and my daughter (a.k.a. my in-house play tester) was an instant fan. So when I heard they were opening their newest Hong Kong outlet this time on Hong Kong Island, at Hopewell Mall in Wan Chai – I knew we had to check it out.
Spanning an enormous 17,000 square feet, the new Kiztopia is officially the brand’s largest outlet in Hong Kong. From the moment you step inside, it’s clear this isn’t just a playground –
it’s a full-blown superhero adventure zone. The space is designed around the Kiztopia Friends characters, who take on superhero personas to guide little ones through 18 themed play zones packed with interactive, sensory-rich fun.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the upgraded Mojo Zone. It features not just one, but four major climbing zones, including an epic eight-metre zipline (yes, eight metres!), ultra-steep slides (OMG, my mummy heart seeing my little monkey on these), netted climbing frames, and obstacle courses that look like they were dreamed up by someone who definitely remembers how to think like a five-year-old. My daughter went from slightly intimidated to full-speed adrenaline mode in about five secondes flat.

There’s also a massive inflatable bouncy castle with sensory obstacle elements, a career play zone (think market stall, kitchen, and farm), and interactive trampoline challenges where kids can jump to hit light-up targets or take on a bouncing basketball game. In other words, if your child has energy to burn (don’t they always? Because mine has plenty), this is your golden ticket.

And while my daughter was running from one zone to the next, I appreciated the fact that the space is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully staffed. However, I have to mention it was packed (like rainy Saturday afternoon kind of packed) – from having to queue 30 to 45 minutes before entering the space to fighting our way through some of the zones.
Is Kiztopia’s new Wan Chai outlet worth the visit? 100% yes. Is it a tad overwhelming? 100% yes as well.

Whether you’re looking for a rainy-day saviour (but be prepared – you won’t be the only parent to think of it as the perfect solution to the gloomy weather), a birthday party venue, or simply a fun way to tire the kids out (and trust me, it works), this is the kind of place that delivers. It’s playful, immersive, safe, and just plain fun.
My verdict? Kiztopia has done it again—and this time, even closer to home for us Hong Kong Island parents. You’ll see us back there soon- one I’ve recovered from the exhaustion of our recent visit.
