What to Do with Your Kids’ Endless Artwork? Meet Kidvolio

Because let’s be honest, you can’t keep it all (or can you?)

What to Do with Your Kids’ Endless Artwork? Meet Kidvolio

To all my fellow parents – what do you do with your kids' art? My daughter is the creative type. Every school day brings a new stack of masterpieces (well, some definitely better than others), not to mention the weekend sessions where she gets lost in her beloved Aquarellum painting kits. And as much as I cherish every single drawing, let’s be real – Hong Kong apartments aren’t exactly known for their spacious storage options.

Of course, I can’t just throw them away (I’m too sentimental for that, and she’d definitely notice). So, until recently, I was stuffing them into a box under my bed, where they were promptly forgotten, collecting dust. That was, until Kidvolio reached out to me with a solution so genius I wish I’d thought of it myself.

Turning clutter into keepsakes

Kidvolio is all about transforming your little artist’s best (and let’s be honest, some of their not-so-best) works into beautifully curated art books. Think of it as a coffee table book, but instead of high fashion or contemporary design, it’s filled with something even more precious and unique – your child’s creativity.

The process is seamless. You order a Magic Art Box (HKD 268), which arrives at your doorstep complete with everything you need to safely pack up those treasured sketches, finger paintings, and stick-figure family portraits. It’s a great opportunity to sort through your child’s art with them – and get to hear about the ‘artist’s vision’.

Then, it’s time to send your selection to Kidvolio and choose what you wanna do with these art creations: a book, cushion covers, drink coasters, embroidered tee-shirts … the choice is yours. Don’t worry, it’s all through tracked parcel so there’s no chance for the precious drawings to get lost.

Kidvolio then professionally photographs and digitizes each piece, arranges them into a custom-designed book (from HKD 588 for 25 pieces of artwork), or your choice of everyday item and voilà – your child’s creative legacy, preserved forever.

If you want the original artwork back, there’s a small extra fee, but honestly, once you see your child’s work transformed into a keepsake book, you might not feel the need to keep every single original.

Why I love it

Less Clutter, More Memories – No more piles of paper hiding under the bed or taking over the fridge door.
Professional Quality – These books are sleek, beautifully printed, and designed to last.
A Perfect Gift – Grandparents, godparents, or anyone who dotes on your little one will love receiving one of these.
A Special Moment for Your Child – Imagine their excitement when they see their work turned into a “real” book! My daughter was so pumped she asked to bring her book into school and did a Show and Tell to her classmates to tell them everything about her super cool book.

Is It worth It?

Absolutely. So, if like me, you’ve been wondering what to do with that ever-growing pile of drawings and paintings, Kidvolio might just be the answer. It’s a stress-free way to celebrate your child’s creativity while keeping your home (somewhat) clutter-free.

Now, if only they could come up with a way to organise my daughter’s ever-growing collection of stickers…
