The Grand Hyatt is offering the ultimate end- of -year relaxation package: a massage at Plateau Spa and afternoon tea at one of their restaurants, Triffin Lounge. All you have to do is set aside some ‘you’ time because the hotel takes care of everything else! Hong Kong Madame tried it, and we 200% approve!
We started with a bit of TLC, and went for the Green Tea Hydrating Massage- there are actually three massages to choose from altogether (Green Tea Hydrating/ Mother-to-Be and Hong Kong). For a whole hour the masseuse worked her magic hands to undue all the daily wear and tear damage to our muscles. Forget neck and back stiffness; whatever the masseuse’s hands touch, the pain just melts away! Of course, all good things must come to an end, so after an hour you have to make way for the next person. But don’t worry, you have plenty time to relax with a tea and gently come back to reality- you can even take a shower if you like. The good news is there’s more relaxation to follow! Next, make your way to the Tiffin Lounge for a rather splendid high- tea session! Treat yourself to smoked salmon toasts and other savoury delights as well as a range of scones, fruit tarts, cheesecake, chocolate cake and pana cotta. You won’t know where to start! All in all, it’s a really carefree way to spend the afternoon and it will leave you feeling zen and totally indulged! The only problem is, you’ll probably want MORE!
