I love smart restaurants in luxury hotels! Usually, you can find a Coffee Lounge at the lobby where you can sip a cup of tea with pastries, the huge international buffet for heavy appetites and big breakfasts, the fine-dining one and eventually one or 2 other westerns serving Italian, French or American dishes. An Indian one? I have to say I never found any…. Until I went to the Conrad.
Once again, I can thank this 5-star hotel who plays an innovative role with its amazing and delicious Curry Tiffin Lunch buffet : tandooris, naans, currys, masala and other spicy dishes just as I love them. Super class service, cosy leather armchairs and banquettes, green and quiet terrace outside, light-filled environment and beautiful tablewares: no doubt this is a 5-star atmosphere. A couple of warm naans to start, and I am ready for my culinary trip to Bombay. This means I will have to choose amongst all those mouth-watering, flavored and refined dishes. One plate, then another, I go once again, my friend follows me….
Time flies and we feel like in a Rajasthan palace.
What? It’s already time to go back to the office…oh no….well this oriental break was so comforting. Thanks Conrad !
