Edit - January 7th 2018: this restaurant is now closed

The concept would surprise you...
But first a short introduction by Guillaume, the young French manager of the space: “often in hotels, what people prefer is to relax on the sofas in the comfortable lounge area, enjoy a coffee on the terrace, dine at the fine-dining restaurant or just enjoy a glass of champagne while listening to live music. In short, switching from one atmosphere to another in just one minute and just relax. Maison Eight, gives you just that: everything in the same spot! You can visit at any hour of the day, spending an entire afternoon and evening, before heading off home to sleep.
Let’s start with the “Ballroom”, the lounge:
Large cosy sofas, live band, relaxing atmosphere, and plates to snack on at all hours of the day. You can rest and feel comfortable, take a little tour around the terrace perhaps? Life is beautiful.
Next the “Salvatore”, the trendy bar:
Behind the counter, the bartender is busy. One cocktail called “Douce France” here, and another called “Excuse my french” there. Infused with perfectly distributed colors, making us want to try everything but the next room awaits.
We finish with Esmé, the ultra chic restaurant:
Elegant room, beautifully-crafted dishes, and cosy throws, you would feel like you’ve been transported to a five-star fine-dining restaurant although the chef refuses to acknowledge this title. He is particular about offering high quality products which are as fresh as possible. And the attention to detail hard to miss. The lamb chops are beyond succulent, perfumed, just wonderful. The scallops with mushrooms are equally delightful. And at the top of the list is the absolutely delicious Lobster Thermidor. A chef of culinary delight! The desserts help to conclude a beautiful feast. We will be back to try the foie gras, roast pigeon and Angus beef steak, as well as the rhum baba and creme brulée.
We will also come back to try the private room:
Sound proof, lounge atmosphere, home-cinema, private terrace. We need to find a good excuse to return quick, perhaps karaoke with friends, a farewell party, birthday, wine tasting...?
