Are you a fashion victim? Do you love innovative designs and young stylists? If so, we have come across an address that should make your day. The Collectives is a showroom that has recently opened in Gough Street. This street really is full of surprises! The entrance itself delighted us. A wall of champagne flutes; unheard of! The interior was subdued but welcoming. There was a fine selection of pieces by young independent designers from all four corners of the world. Amongst others, Adam by Adam Lippes from New York, OwnMuse from Singapore, Rotten Banana from Hong Kong and Milin and Vickteerut from Thailand. The showroom really is a breath of fresh air. You must however note that it is not a shop. You need to make an appointment. Once there you can have a chat whilst you sip coffee or champagne, admire the black and white prints on the walls and let yourself be advised by the team of personal shoppers. We loved the huge changing room in the basement as well as the glass panels underneath the staircase. Let us know what you think!
