111SKIN’s Celestial Black Diamond Non-Surgical Face Lift at The Mandarin Spa

Editor’s pick: the best beauty picks of this Spring
Developed by renowned Harley Street plastic surgeon Dr. Yannis Alexandrides, 111SKIN  is the culmination of 30 years of surgical knowledge and medically inspired delivery methods, and as such, has become a leader in the luxury skincare business.  His skincare line was originally created to encourage healing post-treatment and was prescribed to his recovering patients following surgery. Now, the brand has become a favourite amongst celebrities including Michelle Yeoh, Victoria Bekham, and Gabrielle Union.

111SKIN’s iconic facial and body treatments are now available at The Mandarin Spa  and I got to test drive their Celestial Black Diamond Non-Surgical Face Lift. A treatment at the Mandarin Spa is always an indulgent experience and this 90-min facial is no exception. Featuring 111Skin’s Intensive Collection range combined with LED light therapy, the treatment is designed to lift and give your skin a firmer appearance. The wrinkle-minimising wand massage and signature massage left me in such a relaxed state that I fell asleep. Post treatment my skin felt plump, lifted, and sculpted, particularly along the jawline.

The Celestial Black Diamond Non-surgical Face Lift is priced at HKD3,100 on weekdays; and at HKD3,300 on weekends, subject to a 10% service charge.

Augustinus Bader - The Foaming Cleanser

Editor’s pick: the best beauty picks of this Spring
I usually steer clear of foaming cleansers as the ones I have tried tended to strip moisture from my skin, but this cleanser is gentle yet purifying and has a silky texture that transforms into a velvety foam on the skin lifting away impurities and all traces of make-up.

The Foaming Cleanser HK$545 / 100ml at https://www.augustinusbader.com.hk/

Ultra Violette - Queen Screen Luminising Serum SPF 50+

Editor’s pick: the best beauty picks of this Spring
In case you didn’t know, Australian skincare brand Ultra Violette  is finally in Hong Kong, and we can’t get enough of the Queen Screen SPF 50+ Luminising Sun Serum Skinscreen. Vegan formulated with antioxidant-rich Kakadu plum; it has a milky, serum-like consistency that quickly absorbs into the skin leaving behind a glowy finish that’s great under makeup.

Queen Screen Luminising Serum SPF 50+ HK$275 / 50ml at www.sephora.hk

Hibernicis – Cara Hand Cream

Editor’s pick: the best beauty picks of this Spring
Inspired by the wild and untouched west coast of Ireland, Hibernicis (pronounced HI BER NI KIS) is the latest natural beauty brand to hit the 852. For Hibernicis’ hand cream, the brand harnesses the power of seaweed extracts and vitamin E to help heal, protect, and maintain water balance in the skin. And with all our handwashing and hand sanitizing, maintaining healthy hands should be a priority year-round.
