Ever heard about Greyhound Café? Quoted by Fortune Magazine as “the Hottest Seats in Bangkok”, Greyhound Café is a café opened in Bangkok in 1997 by Thai fashion brand Greyhound. They now have several outlets around Thailand and Hong Kong. And just opened this summer a brand new flagship restaurant at ELEMENTS.
The new restaurant is the first Greyhound Café to hosts a Thai Noodle Bar along with 10 exclusive dishes. I must confess that I have never heard about Greyhound Café before and wasn’t sure what to expect, well in one word it was yummy.

Hong Kong Madame fav: the Yellow Curry Crab on Rice (HKD 198), a super yummy (and absolutely non spicy at all) stir fried crab served on jasmine rice. Plus, no need to worry about de-shelling the crab and getting yourself all dirty, it has been all taking care of. Hum, can I have another round of this one please?
Other exclusive dishes includes the Thai-Style Spicy Seafood Salad (HKD 158) or the Spicy Hot Pot Seafood Pontoon (HKD 248) - seafood such as tiger prawns, mussels, crab meat and scallops in a spicy broth.

Oh and my fav Mango Shake, yummy, sweet and refreshing … just what I need on a hot and humid day.
I don’t know why but I wouldn’t have think that you could have proper Thai food in a restaurant located in a mall. Well, I was wrong. Actually loved my first go at Greyhound Café and looking forward to be back (for that Yellow Curry Crab especially!)
