Ok, I know that we have a lot of veggies in the room but sorry guys what follows is for the carnivorous out there. Think juicy, think dirty, think meaty … I am taking you out for dinner to the latest Steakhouse in town: Wolfgang’s Steakhouse.

The atmosphere and design is just what you expect from a steakhouse. Elegant and cosy. The place is very spacious though. Menu is juts alike. Nothing surprising but very promising with all the classics one can expect to find on a steakhouse menu: Caesar salad, crab cakes, jumbo shrimp cocktail, steak and chops (obviously), a few seafood options, potatoes in several ways, side dishes and super pornfood desserts.

But let’s order before I finish off that entire bread basket. I know, I am weak but I cannot resist onion flavoured brioche.
Let’s start with Wolfgang’s Salad (HKD 168) a refreshing mix of iceberg lettuce, red peppers, cherry tomatoes, beans, onions, shrimp and bacon. Quite nice actually. A light way to kick off things before moving on to the tasty Lobster Bisque (HKD 138). And here comes the star of the day: the 1kg Porterhouse for two (HKD 1150). Well, if a steakhouse is to be judge on the quality of the meat, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse definitely passes the test and with a high score. The meat is perfectly cooked and so tasty. Why so? Because, imported fresh from the U.S, it has been dry-aged on premises for 28 days.  Some may find the taste a little strong but if you ask me, that’s meat at its best: tender and flavourful. If you have a small appetite, this porterhouse can feed three people but if you are just like us (I like to think of myself as a gourmet but some would call it glutton) you can finish it off even being just two. But please make sure to save some appetite for dessert because the Homemade Wolfgang’s Cheesecake (HKD 98) is a killer! A proper NYC cheesecake, old style and so light that it even feels like there’s no calories involved. Well, that’s only a feeling! Moreover because it is served (as all desserts) with homemade whipped cream. If cheesecake is not your thing (but that one would be, believe me), you can also go for the Lime Pie (HKD 98). I haven’t tried them but was quite appealed by the Pecan Pie (HKD 98) and the Apple Strudel (HKD 98).

Congrats you just made it to the end of a feast!  If you are fancying a proper steak definitely consider heading to Wolfgang’s Steakhouse.
