We’ve already spoken of FRITES before. The Belgian restaurant with its vast selection of beers (more than 80 different kinds), serving up to 5,000 kilos of mussels each month, has now opened a fourth restaurant in Causeway Bay.
FRITES’ cool new spot is enormous, about 4,000m sq (okay we are going to stop with the numbers now!), the mussels and fries always taste so good, and the brasserie-style decor with its high ceilings, make us forget we are in Hong Kong. You may have to avoid it if you are on a diet though. FRITES serves ‘comfort food’, enormous portions!. We ordered and shared and delighted in all of FRITES’ delights from starters to desserts (the chocolate fondant was really YUMMY!).
Menu for two:
Salmon tartare $145
1/2kg Laksa mussels $225
2 x Hoegaarden Draught 2x90$
Hot chocolate fondant 65$
