Definition of the word SAAM : refined with a laid-back attitude, modern yet traditional, high gastronomy and « coolitude », East meets West flavours. OK, it’s really the African word for « together ». “Together” because here, the motto is sharing. You share a table with your neighbours; you share the dishes with your friends or your better half; you even end up sharing will all your FB friends! The dishes are so beautifully presented; you can’t help but pull out your smartphone and post a couple of snaps.
For dinner amongst work buddies, I suggest the Sharing menu that comes with lots of perfectly delicious treats in small portions. With your lover, go for the Tasting menu instead with 6 dishes you’ll be licking off the plate. How about lunch with your friends? Share a selection of dishes "a la carte", because picking one dish for yourself is torture, you want to try everything!
It’s really good! The cuttlefish “noodles” with sea urchin and yuzu takes the gold. Having said that the langoustine with cucumber snow and green apple was pretty outstanding too. Not to mention the scallops with cauliflower ravioli and snap peas … Or the lobster with artichoke and lemon emulsion. It’s most definitely my pick of the month! And the bill is really reasonable!
