« Leave no part behind » is its credo and when chef Tom Aikens (also at the head of The Pawn) is in the kitchen, we follow the rule. Feet, tongue, cheeks or even tail and ears for the most courageous ones (personally, for those, I will pass), there is something for everybody, every taste and every mood: burgers, hot dogs, rillette, dumpling, ribs…grilled, roasted, fried, spicy... you understood, if you are a pork lover, this is the place to go!
Of course, 2 hungry girls could not try the entire menu. But I could definitely recommend the mini burgers combo: 2 different yummy piggy burgers to share. Eggs with bacon are delicious and not only on weekends as you can enjoy the brunch menu every day, all day long. And this is a good idea! The Kimchi hot dog on my neighbor’s table seemed superb and original. Cucumber pickles are perfect as a side .
What about desserts ? Tailor-made ice creams (you chose the flavour, toppings and sauce) made me feel like a spoiled 3 years old girl. Big gleaming neon signs on the walls give a fun and colored atmosphere to the very spacious room. Waitresses are all smily and friendly.
At the end, a « comfort food »lunch break plenty of happiness: perfect when winter is coming.
