This November, Ayuthaiya is taking you to a unique food tour around Thailand without leaving Central, Hong Kong.
Grab your Tuk Tuk Dining Passport and embark on a very tasty journey. For each dish of the Tuk Tuk menu you order receive one stamps, collect three stamps and get a fourth dish for free by simply posting a photo to the Ayuthaiya Facebook page. Flavourful Thai food and complimentary dishes … sounds like a plan right?
The Tuk Tuk menu? Eight new dishes specially crafted by the team and taking you on a trip to different regions.
Our journey begins in the North East of Thailand, in the Nakhon Phanon region, with a Pla Pao. This salt baked market fresh tilapia served with spicy Thai sauce and tamarind dressing was my fav dish of the evening! So fresh and tasty. Going east, to Chanthaburi, for a meatier treat: Yum Nuer, grilled strip loin beef on celery, cucumber and cherry tomatoes in a citrus fish sauce. A stop in Bangkok is a must, moreover because the Yum Tua Pao – spicy salad with fresh wing beans, king prawns, chicken, coconut milk, roasted chili and peanut sauce – is a killer dish. And then it goes on and on, yummy treat after yummy treat, beautiful region after beautiful region, including the Pla Muk Yang – marinated squid. But enough, I am not gonna spoil your trip …
