One of our favorite perks of living in Hong Kong? Being able to spend September, October, November, December and sometimes even January at the beach! Not to mention how easy it is to go on a sunny getaway. Hop on a flight and 2 to 3 hours later you are on a white-sand beach … We are clearly living our best bikini life. The only thing about living in a bikini all year long though is that you definitely wanna make sure your waxing is on point! And waxing isn’t exactly always a relaxing time. But, knowing that we do visit a waxing boutique once a month we thought we could at least try and find one where we would feel comfortable without having to break the bank. After hearing all about Dolma’s perfect finish and reading reviews on how professional she is, we thought Dolma Waxing Boutique could be the hidden gem we were looking for.

We’d better warn you, here you won’t find massage, manicure, pedicure or anything that is not waxing except for threading. Why so? Because, as a beauty therapist having worked in the Middle East for a wide range of clients (we even heard that she once worked for royalty) for many years and moving back to Hong Kong in 1997, Dolma soon realized the 852 was definitely lacking a proper hair removal salon. Since then, she’s been welcoming clients in her tiny Central waxing boutique and building a reputation of being one of the best waxing therapists on the island. An institution!
