In Hong Kong, we have plenty of nice hotels with wonderful spas. At the Conrad, even if it’s a luxury hotel, for their spa, they chose low price, intimacy and efficiency.
There, you won’t find any relaxing room nor detailed questionnaire and even less teas and free snacks. Just a nice treatment room next to the changing one, a bottle of water a sauna and a hammam.
BUT, prices are very affordable and the therapists are ultra-professional. As soon as you lay down you can already tell how the therapist knows her job! Ok, sometimes, it hurts a bit. When a tension in the back is tenacious…she does not stop until it goes away. But trust me, after that, you will feel so relaxed. The foot massage is divine (a very ticklish girl is talking), not too strong, not too soft. Same for the arms and the head.
You can select between 3 massages: chinese, swedish or Aromatherapy. I chose the last one to relieve muscle pain and tension with aromatherapic oils. Acupuncture pressure is perfectly used, music is sooth.
I was exhausted and stressed when I arrived, I am now full of energy!
If you have one or 2 hours in front of you and need a relaxing break to regain energy, head straight to the Conrad health center.
