Avocado
Avocado doesn’t only taste good on a toast or in a guacamole, it is also packed with vitamins making it a star when it comes to nourishing your skin and hair:
- Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant which can help reduce free radical damage and slow the aging process of your skin
- Vitamin D which can also prevent the skin from prematurely aging and have also proven to be helpful to treat some skin conditions such as dry skin or eczema
- Vitamin A which helps prevent breakouts and promotes skin and hair natural moisturizing
In a nutshell, avocado is a great natural moisturiser but it also reduces wrinkles and fine lines. Avocado are also filled with biotin which promotes lustrous hair and adding some avocado to your hair routine would lead to softer and stronger hair.

Caffeine

Ok, caffeine might not be the most obvious super ingredients and it can definitely be bad for you if you have too much of it. Have you ever experienced heart palpitations or anxiety after having too many cups of coffee? I had! But caffeine is also a very powerful antioxidant, actually considered as one of the strongest one to combat UV damages, with brightening properties.
Studies have also shown that caffeine can dehydrate fatty cells and is therefore quite efficient in minimizing the appearance of cellulite and adding coffee ground to your body scrub helps to have water disappearing from the surface of your skin making it smoother.

Coconut
Again, just like avocado, coconut doesn’t only taste seriously good, it can also do good to your skin and hair with its deep conditioning properties. Glossy hair and smooth, velvety, skin, that’s what you can expect if adding coconut to your beauty routine. Just make sure not to overuse it because its rich texture does form a protective layer but can also clog pores.

Rose
Rose has long been known for its anti-inflammatory properties so it’s a go to ingredient if you have redness and irritation. It is especially great for dry skin because it’s full of vitamin E and therefore very moisturizing but also packed with vitamins A and C boosting collagen production and helping to prevent aging of the skin. Oh and if your skin tends to be oily, do not be afraid to also use rose products because being so hydrating, rose helps increase the water content in your skin and therefore balance it’s oiliness.
