KÉRASTASE – OLÉO-RELAX

April beauty hits
Remember when. in January, I was confessing my absolutely not objective 5-years long love-story with Kérastase ? Well, seems like the honeymoon is still not over since I recently gave a go to one of their collections I’ve never tried before and ended-up being hooked, as always with Kérastase.

Elixir Ultime would be my go-to range for extra shininess. But I can never go with only one range of haircare and usually use 4 to 5 at the same time (yes that’s a lot, I know that), alternating at every shampoo. Why so? Because I got more than one concern for my hair (shine, moisturization, post coloration treatment …) so wanna make sure I’m giving then everything they need and also don’t want it to get use to one product. Plus, I love tyring new products way too much! Lately, the weather has been extremely humid (I mean doesn’t if feel like it’s been raining every day for the past few weeks?) and I needed products to help me smooth frizzy hair so went for the Oléo-Relax anti-frizz range: Bain Oléo-Relax (shampoo), Masque Oléo-Relax (hair mask) and Huile Oléo-Relax (smoothing and disciplining oil).

My fav product of them three? The hair mask and its super rich creamy formula. It detangles and smoothes but also provides deep nourishment with its blend of different oils which is exactly what I need for my died hair.

L’OFFICINE UNIVERSELLE BULY – TRUE IONIZED CLEANSING WATER

April beauty hits
Have you already paid a visit to L’Officine Universelle Buly on Wyndham Street? It is probably one of the most beautiful shops in Hong Kong (and very Instagram friendly). I absolutely love the vintage French pharmacy atmosphere there. But not only is the shop beautiful, I am also obsessed with their products – combining innovative cosmetic techniques with natural ingredients - and their perfect marketing.

Their packaging is so perfect, and I am such a sucker for beautiful packaging, that I might have bought my first product there – their iconic hand cream - based on that only but it’s now the quality of the products (even though I am still madly in love with the packaging) which has me going back for more. My latest crush: the true ionized cleansing water, the ultimate cleansing lotion for combination skins like mine. The lotion combines colloidal silver to disinfect and purify the skin with boric acid to sooth. Perfect to renew skin cells, rebalance the skin and heals imperfections without damaging or weakening the skin.

HKD 340 / 200ml

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN BEAUTY – LOUBIGRAFFITI VELVET MATTE LIP COLOUR

April beauty hits
I’m not the kind of girl to wear a lot of make-up, not because I don’t like it but more because 1. I’m lazy 2. I’m just so bad with make-up … I wish I knew how to do a perfect smoky eye, but I just can’t. One thing I do love to wear when I feel like doing a bit more than my day to day natural healthy glow look is a very red lipstick. And when it comes to red, the master definitely is Christian Louboutin. Did you know that on top of painting the soles of his – highly desirable - shoes with his signature red, he also had a beauty line?

I am loving the ultra-pigmented lipsticks from the LoubiGraffiti limited edition. Not to mention they come in the cutest graffiti printed packaging.

Hong Kong Madame fav: Bengali, a very pop fushia which I feel I’m gonna wear a lot this summer.

HKD 800
Available at Lane Crawford shops (ifc mall, Canton Road, Times Square) and online
