Did you have any idea that deodorants are probably one of the most toxic things you use on a daily basis? They are loaded with toxic allergens and chemicals including aluminum known for favorizing breast cancer and Alzheimer, parabens or triclosan known for favorizing hormone disruption … Not to mention how absolutely not eco-friendly they are, from their components to their packaging. So what? Should we stop using any antiperspirant product and live with our non-sexy but chemical-free smelly armpits? Thanks, but no, I don’t think so. It is true finding a natural deodorant that works wasn’t that easy before, but they are now quite a number of different options out there including the following three which I have personally tested and approved.

Coconut Matter – MOOD Deodorant
What: A coconut oil-based deodorant which is both chemical-free and plastic-free. It is produced locally and artisanally with a variety of organic, fairly traded and cruelty free ingredients and packed in a biodegradable carboard and laminate tube.
Fragrances: SPRING (Geranium, Lavender, Lime) / ZEN (Cedarwood, Bergamot, Vetiver) / HERO (Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Rosemary) – my personal fav / FREE (fragrance-free)
Why we love it: because on top of being a deodorant, the coconut oil works on improving the underarm skin’s health leaving it healthy and smooth
